LIFE COACHING

What are some typical reasons for working with a coach?

There are many reasons that an individual might want to work with a coach. For example:

  1. There might be a gap in knowledge, skill, confidence or even resources that needs to be addressed
  2. Often there is something at stake (a challenge, professional or personal, a stretch goal, or opportunity)
  3. Perhaps a big stretch is being asked or desired and it is time sensitive
  4. People often have a huge need for life course correction due to a set-back or sometimes because of huge success
  5. Often someone will consult a coach because of the unwanted consequences of a lack of life and work balance
  6. Someone might be stuck in a pattern they want to change like ineffective interpersonal skills that holds them back from achieving the life they want
  7. You could use a coach if there are decisions to make and there is a lack of clarity of what you want and you find yourself wavering from day to day unable to make clear decisions and commitments
  8. Life can become too complicated and you can seek a coach’s support around a desire for simplicity and/or greater organization in your life
  9. If you are starting a business and want support to really design the venture very intentionally
  10. Any work or life transition
  11. You can use a coach to help identify your core strengths and how to leverage them for a better life.

What I love about this work is that it asks questions that aren’t normally asked like: When you are most alive, who are you?

Feel free to contact me if you have questions or would like to schedule an exploratory coaching session.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
